"On the out bound journey to the airport I was asked to pay the £5 drop off charge myself which, at £163 for a 45 mile round trip felt unreasonable. Driver then sat at 50 mph in the middle lane meaning cars were overtaking and undertaking on both sides. It felt like the driver didn't even notice the problems he was causing.
On the return journey my flight landed 30 minutes late. With a 30 minute wait time built into the price I felt that the driver should have at least been at the airport waiting for me by the time I came through passport control (I had explained earlier that I didnt have a bag to collect). Upon reaching the arrivals hall I phoned the driver who told me he had a flat tyre and wouldn't be able to collect me. I then called Pumpkin cars main number and was told the driver would be collecting me and to wait another 10 minutes. After another 10 minutes (now an hour after I should have been collected) I phoned the driver again he said he was still 5-6 minutes out. In the end I booked an Uber (which arrived in 4 minutes) and used that to get home. I text pumpkin cars and asked them to process a refund. Eventually the driver called to say he had arrived. This was 1 hour and 20 minutes after my schedueld arrival time and I was already on the M4 in the Uber I had arranged just 15 minutes earlier.
I have since enquired about the refund two further times but Pumpkin cars are no longer responding to my texts.
Is it possible that Taxi code can process the refund. It should be £81.50 which is half the total £163 I paid for the round trip booking. The Uber was £77.20 including a £5 tip. If not then I will be requesting a callback through my credit card company.
I will not be using taxicode again. Your service is simply too unreliable."

"Can’t fault the drivers or the service but I did pay the extra for a bigger vehicle so we were more comfortable. The journey back to the airport was a bit cramped in the back as we got a prius rather than a transporter so we were a bit disappointed. I’m not happier to leave a tip as I don’t feel like I got what I paid for. "
